You Melt My Heart

I had a lot of fun with this one, adding a tea bag stained background, some molding paste, some Shimmerz Bed of Roses and gesso!! I used the non-themed side of the Authentique Sweetness papers, no ice cream cones for this one...though I used a lot of the die cuts including the Melt My Heart one that sneaks in a bit of an ice cream look, subtle one though :) I took a bunch of the frames from the die cut sheet and layered them under the photo and one over the photo too :) Everything including the very white tags got a tea dye staining!
The flowers and vine are all prima and just used some household string to accent my layout. Final touch is a bit of bling confetti sprinkled around the layout.

I'd love to enter this in the Scrap Africa sketch challenge (I started with this sketch but it took on a life of its own...I used the photo placement from the sketch, my vine is the fence, and my background is the circles instead of the chicken wire!!) and the Scrap for Help tea bag challenge!!!

I Love Watching You Growing Up Together!

Excited to say that this was featured at Scrap for Help!!

My girls are growing up so fast, sometimes they get along great, sometimes one wrong look and World War 3 breaks out. Last summer they had such a great day out building sand castles and collecting shells on the beach in Oregon, I wanted to document that. They fight a lot, and I know it will probably get worse as they get closer to their teen years, but they do love each other and they can still play amazingly well together sometimes! I still can't believe sometimes that I am a mom to these beautiful little personalities, they make me proud, they tire me out, they exasperate me. I love them so much, and it brings a tear to my eye to see time passing by so fast. I am so glad I am their mom!!

I'd love to enter this in the 7 Dots Nature challenge, I used shells we collected from the beach trip! I also used the gorgeous sketch from Once Upon a Sketch and used the word grow for the theme of the layout. My journaling above is written on the back of the layout.

I used several items in this layout from Tresors de Luxe. I sprayed the Ivory Venice Lace (LA-025) with Lindy's Stamp Gang Tibetan Poppy Teal.

I used a Rustic Shabby Chic Pale Aqua cluster (FL-20)

and Tea Green Velvet and Rhinestone Flower (FL-004). I thought the pale green flower reminded me of sea
anenome and worked well with the beach theme!!

The final little touch from Tresors de Luxe is the Tiny Shabby Chic Wooden Clothespin (FL-024)
that holds my title. Just love using these!!

I love the Molossi chipboard Fence Wire Panel (small) that I used here. It reminded me of fishing netting and I thought it would work great here for added texture for the layout! I sprayed it here with Lindy's Stamp Gang Tibetan Poppy Teal mist.

I used real shells from our beach trip, beautiful 7 Dots Dreamer paper and stickers, and gorgeous flowers and lace from Tresors de Luxe.

Finally, I'd love to enter this in Berry71Bleu's Anything Goes challenge and the Scrap for Help Bubble Wrap challenge, I used my distress inks and some bubble wrap I had in my office to make the bubbles on the layout!

The Best Day

I used my gorgeous April C'est Magnifique kit to do this layout, Pion Alma's Sewing Room, Prima Engraver chipboard and some gorgeous Cheery Lynn die cuts (I have four here: the Lace Light Deco Border, Celtic Whimsy, Mini Fanciful Flourish and Cuties 2), there is also some gorgeous Prima flowers and vine pieces, antique buttons and lace from the kit...

I have used the gorgeous Once Upon a Sketch sketch and the theme of Best Day, using journal strips this time... One our BEST DAYS?? The day our family was complete, the birth of my second daughter Aisling!

I'd also love to enter this in the Cheery Lynn Purple challenge, and the Scrap for Help book paper challenge

My Gorgeous Girls

I did this layout with my Swirlydoos January kit, filled with Prima Firefly paper and journal spots and lots of goodies.  My girls when they were little, up our little hill we live on, with beautiful views of the Irish countryside behind them! I love the colors on these papers and I also used a Prima background splatter stamp and some gesso to built up the background a bit.  I used the clear plastic backing that the flowers came on and cut the words on it into little pieces and glued them on the photos and over the layout!

I would love to enter this in the Scrap for Help challenge for this month which is to use plastic on your layout...recycled plastic from my packaging, love that it can be reused!

Prima Ballerina

I really enjoyed doing this layout, it is a great photo of my eldest daughter in her ballerina gear a few years back...She is very serious about ballet now and her teacher thinks she could go further, so she is starting to follow a dream of hers to be a professional ballerina! Now, I know it is a hugely competitive thing, and she is young. I have no need for her to be a prima ballerina, I won't be a pushy momma, lol, but if she loves ballet and this is a dream she wants to follow, we will support her! I think she is a graceful dancer but I might be al little biased!! I hope she achieve whatever dream she decides to follow in life!!

I made this layout as part of the Scraps of Darkness Round Robin, basing it off of this layout by Michelle Mc!  I used the Prima Almanac paper from an SOD kit, and Fairy Belle paper from the SOE kit. The door was from a kit as well as the bling and some of the flowers.

This layout is also done for the Prima PPP challenge and the Inkido black and white photo challenge (the butterflies are cut from an Inkido paper in my stash!), and I used twine for the Scrap for Help challenge.

Little Snow Birds

This was featured on Scrap for Help, C'est Magnifique sketch challenge,
and made the watch list on CSI!

I absolutely love the papers in the December C'est Magnifique kit, gorgeous colors, delicate beautiful designs as always from Pion Design papers... This is the layout I did using the yummy CM December sketch.

As part of the challenge for Scrap for Help (I won their November challenge, so exciting, my first time ever and amongst some gorgeous competition!) we were supposed to incorporate a paper bag into our layout! I used a paper bag to make several bitty blossoms flowers and sparkled them up with my new Donna Salazar fairy dust glitter...

I also did this layout as part of the CSI challenge for this week. I rolled up and tied my journalling with ribbon for something fun and different...

I am also entering this in the Scrap Africa challenge which you are supposed to add filmstrips.
