Irish American Girl

I decided to play along with the Prima PPP for July and the Scrap Around the World challenge together!!! Here are the colors for the Prima challenge:

and here is the Mood Board and Sketch for Scrap Around the World:

My color theme came from the Prima challenge, but I took the wooden molding detail and added resin pieces that echoed that to my layout and the key which is a part of my flower cluster.

The photo is my oldest when she was about 8 months old, holding a little American flag my mom sent, and a patriotic outfit a friend sent over! Being an American abroad, I don't do much for the 4th but we like to mark the day a little in some way!!

I would also love to enter this into the Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge. I used Autumn Maple Crimson, Tibetan Poppy Teal and Afternoon Delight Denim Starburst Sprays.

Delightful

So excited to say this was featured at Sketchabilities!!

I used my yummy Scraps of Elegance June kit to make this layout for the Sketchabilities Challenge #93. It is the gorgeous photo I took of my daughter modeling the hair clip I made for the first round of the May Arts Design Team call and I knew I just had to scrap it. I saw Erin Blegen once use a photo in this way, the same photo but in two sizes layered on top of each other...I like the effect!!

Here is the gorgeous sketch I used:

I have also made this for the Prima PPP and would love to enter it into the Stencil and Paste challenge at Scrap Africa.

Fairies in The Garden - Sketch and Doilies challenge reveal for Frosted Designs

So excited to say this was featured for the Prima PPP challenge on their blog!!

This week our challenge at Frosted Designs was to use doilies and this gorgeous sketch by fellow teammate Brenshevia!

I decided to use my Martha Stewart Circle Edge Punch for the first time...just a five minute learning curve and the most tedious part of the whole thing was having to find and mark the center of each sheet of paper I used! I used Prima Fairy Rhymes paper and lots of other Prima goodness for this.

Can you spot a cute little photo of my youngest daughter in amongst the flowers?

Don't forget to come play with us this week and you will be in with a chance to win a prize from

Wearin' o' the Green

OK, maybe I should have gotten this card finished yesterday, it is more appropriate for St. Patricks Day!!
I did this for the Prima PPP challenge, many many shades of green using Prima resins, chipboard, bling, stamps, canvas and flowers!

I'd also love to enter this in the Sandy's Craft Challenge, shades of green! And the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge, flowers and ribbon...

Prima Ballerina

I really enjoyed doing this layout, it is a great photo of my eldest daughter in her ballerina gear a few years back...She is very serious about ballet now and her teacher thinks she could go further, so she is starting to follow a dream of hers to be a professional ballerina! Now, I know it is a hugely competitive thing, and she is young. I have no need for her to be a prima ballerina, I won't be a pushy momma, lol, but if she loves ballet and this is a dream she wants to follow, we will support her! I think she is a graceful dancer but I might be al little biased!! I hope she achieve whatever dream she decides to follow in life!!

I made this layout as part of the Scraps of Darkness Round Robin, basing it off of this layout by Michelle Mc!  I used the Prima Almanac paper from an SOD kit, and Fairy Belle paper from the SOE kit. The door was from a kit as well as the bling and some of the flowers.

This layout is also done for the Prima PPP challenge and the Inkido black and white photo challenge (the butterflies are cut from an Inkido paper in my stash!), and I used twine for the Scrap for Help challenge.

San Francisco Adventure

I did this layout for my first go at the Prima PPP (color challenge). Every single thing on it is Prima, except for one little doily lol!! Here are the Prima PPP colors:

And here is my layout:

I used the beautiful sketch by Amarylis from Scrap That. I just joined the forum and am having fun looking around!

I will also be entering this in the "Tick Tock I Used A Clock" Challenge at Scrapitgirl too :)!
