Love Challenge at Visible Image Stamps

This month's challenge at Visible Image is "Love".

Show us your creations using a Visible Image stamp, and you have a chance to win a £20 gift voucher towards the Visible Image store! The top 3 chosen by the team receive a blinkie.

You can enter HERE!

I love to use vintage images with my cards and this is no exception! I chose a gorgeous vintage wedding couple and featured the Immortal Love stamp set and Bronte Script stamps from Visible Image.

For the background paper I used the damask stamp from the Immortal Love set and Tea Dye Distress Ink to stamp a repeating pattern. The background is inked in soft pink Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and then I used the Bronte Script in Walnut Stain Distress Ink to stamp over top.

The roses and Love sentiment were stamped with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and inked with both Victorian Velvet and Tea Dye to tie in with the card. The bouquet on the vintage image I even inked with Victorian Velvet to add a bit of subtle color.  I stitched around the background paper and the vintage image, layered the image over a doily and made a floral cluster with my stamped and paper flowers. I finished off the card with some twine and some pearls.

I am really pleased at how this one has turned out. If you are interested in any of these gorgeous stamps, just click on the links or images to head on over to the store.
