Relax Card for Visible Image

I did another card this week for my project for Visible Image, I seem to be loving collage style cards with lots of different gorgeous Visible Image stamps and other goodies from my stash. Today's card is a fun beachy theme.

I started this again with a 5 inch square base. I embossed the Ripped Fishnet stamp in Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powder. I wanted a kind of sunrise/sunset effect on the beach so I inked the base with a combination of Stormy Sky and Spiced Marmelade Distress Inks.  I edged the base card with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I then cut a 3x4 inch piece of card and stamped the Tall Grass and Thinking of You flower silhouette stamps using Sepia Archival Ink, again inking the background with the distress inks. I lifted the smaller layer up on foam adhesive.

I stamped the Butterfly using Sepia Archival Ink and colored it with the Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink. I fussy cut this out and glued it on the card bending the wings up to give it a 3D effect.  I added the sentiment "Relax" from the Time after Time set in the Sepia Archival Ink.  My final touch for the card was my favorite part, gluing lots of gorgeous shells!

I really enjoyed making this card and love how it turned out! If you like any of these stamps, just click on the link or image to have a closer look!
