Sorry to hear about your mom and her shingles. Knock on wood I have never had them but know of people who have. The tree of life is really nice, it is on my todo list. The dancing pictures are very cute.
What a glorious DJ quilt! You're inspiring talented. As for the weight thingy, don't look at it as a battle but rather a process--like you with DJ. I'll be thinking of you and your mom.
