Spring is in the Air!

I made this card for my friend Kathy, an organic gardener...I thought I'd make it a pretty springtime card for her!! I'd love to enter this in the new challenge I found over at Studio 75, Sugar Creek Hollow's lace challenge, and the Ribbon Carousel Spring is in the Air Challenge.

I also gave her a gift of some cleaner and simpler stamped cards to give to the volunteers that come help her with her organic farm in exchange for room and board in a new country they are visiting! Here are the cards I came up with!

 I really enjoy making cards as well as scrapping, and it is fun to be able to make cards to order for my friends...one of them needed a get well soon card quick so I whipped up this clean and simple one for her! I absolutely love the Unity Stamps butterfly stamp and find it is one I use again and again for many types of cards. I stamped it in Archival ink, colored it with Victorian Velvet distress ink and gave it some fairy dust glitter for a little extra shine!
