This week I got my grunge on for Visible Image stamps using their very versatile Time after Time stamp set. So far this year I have done a vintage card, a canvas and now this grungy mixed media layout!! I found this photo of my daughter Aisling in my files and just had to print it out! It suited this stamp set perfectly.
Above you see the gear stamp, number stamp and one of the sentiment stamps from the set, there are so many in the collection!! I also had fun adding some ink splats and some gesso and some cool embellishments like the spark plug that says fun!!
Her is my little girl ready to ride and some more of the stamps, the cracked glass another sentiment stamp. You can see the cog and barbed wire chipboard pieces from Molossi here. I embossed the cogs with copper embossing powder and simply inked the barbed wire in black.
I'd love to enter this into the Once Upon A Sketch March challenge. Here is their gorgeous sketch:
We are supposed to use this quote for inspiration and the sentiment on my layout, "you only live once, make it count" could fit more perfectly. I have journalled on the back about my youngest girl here Aisling, pictured on the motorcycle...she is quiet, shy and stubborn, so doesn't get as often noticed as her more extroverted older sister, but she knows what she wants and she knows what she likes, and I encouraged her to grab at her dreams, but to not get too serious about things, remember to relax and enjoy the fun times too!!!!
