You Light Up My Life - A Layout for Visible Image DT

It is Thursday, so it must be time for another Visible Image project!! This week I made a layout with the intention of using the gorgeous Tall Grass stamp. Of course I used a whole lot more!!

As you can see here, I layered the Tall Grass stamp on the background paper, my other paper layers and even my photo, using Sepia Archival Ink. I love how it builds up a bit of depth to it, makes it feel like Aine is walking through the windswept grass!. You can also see the great sentiment "You Light up my Life" from the Chandelier Set here. I thought it fit perfectly for the photo of one my lights of my life! I used the Crackled Background stamp in Walnut Stain Distress Ink and the Grunge Polka Dot stamp again with gesso (I just love to use that one with my gesso, it works perfectly, just make sure to wash the stamp right away!!)

I stamped and fussy cut three butterflies from the Butterfly stamp in Sepia Archival Ink and used Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink to color them up, adding a touch of Peacock Feather Distress Ink and some gesso and bling for extra detail. Finally, I added some Ink Splats in Peacock Feather.

I colored in the background paper with the Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink, did some stitching on the photo and background paper and added some gorgeous flowers from Maya Road and Kaisercraft. My papers and die cuts are the gorgeous 7 Dots 9th Wave. Thank you so much for visiting!
