Project Life Spread and Layout with Scrappery Nigella Kits!

I am absolutely loving the Pink Paislee Moonstruck collection included in this month's Nigella kits!! For years I did 12x12 scrapbooking, but now my Project Life and scrapbook pages are all 6x12 a great size for me and with the flatter scrapbooking I do now, I can keep things in albums instead of storage boxes and I really enjoy the new size!! This layout and Project Life spread are about my daughter growing up so fast!! I found these photos of her and her friends on my iPad and went back through my photos and found ones from when they were tiny! Can't believe how much these girls have changed!!  My layout features a photo of Aine ready for her last disco, sigh...too grown up already!

Here is my Project Life spread. I used lots of different papers from the Scrapbooking Kit (TSK) all part of the Moonstruck collection. I really am enjoying using a strip of scrapbooking papers along the edges this time! I think I will try that again.  I still can't get over how much these girls have changed!!

Here is Aine's best friend she had all through primary school, they have drifted apart now that they are in different secondary schools, but they are still friends and met up at the disco! I can't get over it now, my little babies all grown up!!  For this pocket I used the gorgeous feather paper from the collection cut into 4 x 6. I added a cork feather and star, a washi sticker, and a puffy sticker all from the TSK to this photo and added some clear rhinestones from the Bit and Pieces Kit (BPK).

Here is another friend of Aine's now and then! I have used several cork stickers and a washi sticker here and a few more rhinestones. Again, I used another piece of the 4 x 6 feather paper for this card.

For the 3x4 card slots I added some different papers for the backgrounds, a great phases of the moon paper and the teal patterned paper.  I printed out and cut some journaling strips to add to the moon paper and then added a doily and a journaling card from the 6x6 papers popped up on foam on top of the doily.  On the journalling card I added a few more rhinestones and a cork star.

On the other side of my Project Life spread, I have added a 6x12 layout.  For this layout I have used lots of goodies from the new Color Kit (TCK). I have used a piece of white cardstock for my base,  I used some mesh ribbon included in the BPK along with some fussy cut flowers and ripped papers from the Moonstruck collection to layer under the photo of my beautiful daughter.

Here you can see where I have added a paperclip from the Pretty Little Pieces set in the BPK. I added a tab from the TSK as well as puffy stickers and washi stickers. The rubons are from the BPK.

Here you can see where I used the heart stencil to add the Heidi Swapp Silver Metallic Paste. You can see where I misted with the Kaisercraft Turquoise Mist and added splashes from the Antique Gold Kaiser Mist. I added the Gingham stamp in black and pink distress inks.

This cute bow came from the TSK Pretty Little Pieces set along with the sequins. and you can see where I have added some star rub ons, and some washi stickers along with some turquoise splashes. I finished off the layout with some simple journaling "So grown up, where did the time go?"

I really enjoyed using my Scrappery Kits again and am so glad to have them in my hands again! I have another layout and Project Life spread to share next week and some cards and home decor to follow in the future weeks!! Can't wait to get more creative with these kits!!

Planner Projects using the gorgeous Scrappery Nigella kit!

Hello my friends! I am back again to start sharing my projects here with the Scrappery!!  My Lilly kit and Christmas kits went missing in the post and never arrived, so I was so delighted to be able to work on projects again when the Nigella kits arrived on my doorstep!  I almost always start with my traveler's notebook, as I absolutely love to to change out my planner decor with each new kit!! I even have some planner spreads I have shown on the video below as well as the covers and folders I have made. I really feel that these kits are amazing not only for Project Life and Scrapbooking for planning as well, an extra reason to get these kits!!  I will be able to get several Scrapbooking layouts, Project Life spreads and I also have plans for cards, tags and off the page home decor!! Look for these in future weeks, I can't wait to share!

My first planner project is this beautiful floral paper from the Moonstruck collection! It is covering my favorite Hobonichi journal and I find these covers make the journal's plain cover protected and stronger as well as just being beautiful. I make a cover that can slip on and off the journal and isn't glued onto it so can be changed out each month. These slip covers also make pockets on the front and back inside covers which is great for keeping little bits and pieces needed for reference, etc.  For my decor on the cover I have used the Moonstruck collection from the Nigella Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK) and Scrappery Kit (TSK). I have used the gorgeous puffy stickers, cork stickers and washi stickers to decorate this cover.

Every month I have a monthly vertical insert that I use for memory keeping and which I always use stickers, lettering an photographs to decorate. I always love to make a gorgeous cover for these inserts, again using the beautiful Moonstruck paper featuring one of my favorite Boho motifs, feathers! I have added washi tape stickers, jewels and puffy stickers from the Scrappery Kit as well as a label from the BPK

I always add a folder to my travelers notebook, this time using the gorgeous butterfly paper from the Moonstruck collection. Again I have used the puffy stickers, washi stickers and cork stickers to add decor.

My final projects are two dashboards featuring papers from the Nigella TSK and journal cards and washi tape from the Scrappery owner Ronelle's Cute & Sweet Dori kit featuring these Reset Girl goodies!!

I've recorded a video going through my traveler's notebook sharing pieces from the Scrappery Kit and share it with you here :
